Welcome to Visitors

Visitors of all shapes and sizes are welcome, including those with four paws rather than two.

Whether you arrive on your own, as a pair, as a family, as a group of friends, or as a coach party you will be welcome.

The larger the group, the more we appreciate knowing in advance the day and approximate time of your arrival. You can phone Jim Cotter, the vicar, on 01758 760 296, or send an email to jim@cottercairns.co.uk, or write to him at Gernant, Aberdaron, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, LL53 8BG.

Those of us who live here are privileged to protect and make available to visitors some wonderful breathing spaces: the church itself, the beach and the coast, the hills and the paths.

It is a place for ‘slowly’, ‘softly’, ‘silently’. Groups are welcome for a few hours of silence and prayer, conversation and pondering, and gentle sauntering.

Whether you come for a relaxing day out or on a serious pilgrimage, you will be welcome.

Mae croeso i ymwelwyr o bob math, yn cynnwys y rhai sydd â phedair coes yn hytrach na dwy. Pa un ai cyrraedd ar ben eich hun wnewch chi, mewn pâr, fel teulu, fel grŵp o ffrindiau, neu fel criw ar fws, fe gewch chi groeso mawr.

Po fwyaf y grŵp, y mwyaf y byddwn ni’n gwerthfawrogi cael gwybod ymlaen llaw ar ba ddiwrnod y byddwch chi’n dod, a’r amser y byddwch chi’n debyg o gyrraedd. Fe allwch chi ffonio Jim Cotter, y ficer, ar 01758 760 296, neu anfon e-bost at jim@cottercairns.co.uk, neu ysgrifennu llythyr ato a’i anfon i Gernant, Aberdaron, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, LL53 8BG.
Mae’r rhai ohonom sy’n byw yma yn freintiedig ein bod ni’n cael gwarchod a darparu i bobl ‘le i enaid gael llonydd’: yr eglwys ei hunan, y traeth a’r arfordir, y bryniau a’r llwybrau.

Mae’n lle i 'arafu', 'tawelu', a ‘myfyrio’. Mae croeso i grwpiau ddod yma am ychydig oriau o dawelwch a gweddïo, sgwrsio a myfyrio, a meddwl yn dawel. Pa un ai dod yma am ddiwrnod o ymlacio a wnewch chi, neu ar bererindod ddifrifol, fe fydd yma groeso mawr i chi.
